Introduction: 

RAI 900 rudder angle indicating system is utilized to accurately and opportunely exhibit the rudder angle signals at the specified locations, such as the navigating bridge and wheelhouse, The system can perform the following functions: collection, digitization, transmission, display (digital display and light-bar analog display) and control (for example, control of display brightness) of rudder angle signals.

Components: 
RAI 900 rudder angle indicating system is composed of the following devices :

1. Rudder angle signal transmitter:The rudder angle transmitter collects rudder angle signals, converts them into digital signals, and then transmits the digital signals via RS-422 bus,

2. Signal distributor: The signal distributor has one input channelm which receives the RS-422 bus from the rudder angle signal processor, and has six universal RS-422 output channels, which are segregated from one another, as well as two dedicated RS-422 output channels. 

3.  The indicator has two size options: 144mm ×144mm and 96 mm× 96mm, can exhibit a rudder angle in two manners: three-digit number and analog light bar, and has an RS-422 input channel. 

4. Wall- mounted rudder angle indicator: the indicator is 144mm×144mm in size, and can exhibit a rudder angle in two manners: three- digit number and analog light bar, and has RS-422 input channel. 

5. Ceiling-mounted three-face rudder angle indicator: the indicator can be mounted to the roof of the wheelhouse, simultaneously exhibit on its three faces a rudder angle in two mannels: three- digital number and analog light bar, and has an RS-422 input channel.
