According to the JIB-B8354 specification, hydraulic cylinders can be classified into the following specifications based on their operating pressure.

70kgf/cm² (7MPa) low-pressure hydraulic cylinder
140kgf/cm² (14MPa) medium pressure hydraulic cylinder
Main application: hydraulic steering system. This is used in ships.
The pressurized oil which comes from the steering box creates pushing or pulling force on the piston wall inside the cylinder. This force provides the user with comfortable handling with low force.
