Power source: AC380V/ AC440V

How to work?
The bilge oily wastewater enters the first stage separator through the suction bottom valve, seawater coarse filter (specially designed, 24 mesh filter), and float ball check valve V1. The top of the separator is equipped with an oil collection chamber, and most of the oil in the bilge oily wastewater floats up to the top of the separator oil collection chamber due to the difference in specific gravity. Fine oil droplets coalesce in the inclined plate of the hydrophilic and oleophobic material, and float up in a "reverse same direction" graded manner; Water flows from the bottom drainage port to the suction port of the plunger pump, with a pneumatic valve Vs3 in between. When the plunger pump is running, Vs3 automatically opens, while the flushing water valve Vs2 closes.

When the oil accumulates to a certain amount at the top of the first stage separator, the oil level rises, the oil-water interface meter sends a signal, the pneumatic valves VS2 and VS3 close and automatically open, and clear water enters the first stage separator from the bottom. The floating oil lifted up is discharged to the dirty oil tank through the pneumatic oil discharge valve VS1 (VS1 is a normally closed valve). At this time, the plunger pump is not working. After the oil discharge is completed, it will automatically reset and continue to process the oily wastewater at the bottom of the cabin.

The oily wastewater treated by the primary filter enters the secondary filter for further treatment before being discharged to the outside of the ship. If the oil discharge exceeds the standard, it will automatically turn to the third stage treatment, close Vs4, open Vs5, and allow the excess water to enter the third stage ultrafiltration for further treatment. The three-stage ultrafiltration adopts the principle of permeation, and the filtered liquid enters the sea valve from the outlet check valve V5.

After entering the third stage ultrafiltration, the leaked water is concentrated into a concentrated solution, which is discharged to the bottom of the cabin through V6. The water recovery rate of ultrafiltration is η=water production/water inflow. The recovery rate of this device is set at η=80%, therefore, the water production rate is 0.8 × 0.31m/h=0.25m/h, and the opening of V6 has been set at the factory. If any changes are found, the V6 can be adjusted to regulate the flow rate of the concentrated solution discharged. The recovery rate should not be too high, otherwise the concentrated solution will produce concentration polarization phenomenon, which will affect the lifespan of the membrane.

The tertiary ultrafiltration membrane needs to be kept in water, filled with maintenance solution before leaving the factory, and the inlet and outlet valves should be closed. Do not open these valves during unboxing and installation until water injection is running. Open these valves before starting the device.

This device uses an electric heater to heat the temperature inside the oil collection chamber to around 40 ° C. The temperature is controlled by an electric contact thermometer to turn on and off the electric heater, which is very important for oil discharge, especially in the case of heavy residual oil. It is beneficial for the separation efficiency of the separator and reduces the possibility of blockage.

Two pressure gauges measure the inlet and outlet pressures of the secondary filter separately. The vacuum pressure gauge on the primary separator is used to observe the vacuum pressure inside the cylinder and protect the safe operation of the plunger pump.

The oil concentration meter will automatically sample and monitor the oil content concentration in the discharged liquid. When the oil content in the discharged liquid exceeds the standard, the oil concentration meter will sound an alarm. At this time, the oil concentration meter will automatically close the VnC pneumatic valve, open the VnO pneumatic valve, and discharge the unqualified water back to the bottom of the cabin; And send an alarm signal to the cabin control room. This device requires a discharge water back pressure of 5-10m-H2O. If the back pressure is less than 5m-H2O, a siphon can be installed on the discharge pipeline to prevent water from flowing out of the cabin.
